What can I say… I am a random, nerdy, silly, accident-prone, yet confident young woman. There is a fiery passion inside me about everything to do with music especially singing, the creative arts, performing, love, spirituality, being with friends, watching films, writing, and enjoying myself! I graduated magna cum laude from Webster University with a bachelor’s degree in Music with an emphasis on Vocal Performance as well as French. I plan to use my talents to help others in some way, shape or form. I seek out the joys in life, be them simple or complex.
I am a hopeless romantic in search of the perfect man for me. You’ll probably be reading a lot of my experiences with my ongoing quest. It’s a long and difficult road, but I’ll find him someday. And when I do, it will be amazing. Who knows, I may already know him or he could even be a reader of this blog… 😉
This is a link to my Myspace Music Profile, in case you want to hear unprofessional a’cappella recordings of me singing songs I enjoy and others that I have composed and written myself (like “Glass Ruby” and “Heavenly Embrace”). Someday I hope to get professionally recorded and possibly signed!

In the wonderful world of Harry Potter, I’m a proud Hufflepuff. If you laugh and/or think we Badgers are just the leftover people that couldn’t make it into Ravenclaw, Slytherin, or Gryffindor… Just look up the honey badger. Watch the hilarious YouTube video with the commentary by Randall. You’ll change your mind about messing with us.
Here is where I’ll post everything from poetry I have written, to other poems and lyrics that inspire me, to entries of my personal thoughts and opinions on life.
In response to being nominated for various writing awards, I’m asked to post seven random facts about me. Here goes:
- I have an extremely large collection of film soundtracks, over 30, that is still growing to this day. I’ve fallen in love with them since hearing the Lord of the Rings soundtracks in 2001, and it is my dream to be a choir member and also soloist as part of a film’s score.
- I have been keeping hand-written journals of my life’s saga since the age of 10. As of the end of 2013, I have filled and completed seven. I’m about halfway done with filling my eighth!
- I have a mole/birthmark on my left upper thigh.
- My collection of French novels is quite extensive and will continue to expand, but I’m most proud of the entire collection of all seven French Harry Potter novels. Yes, I’ve read them all.
- I’m not ashamed to say I have an extensive collection of stuffed animals, particularly of bunnies, my favourite animal. I love to cuddle with them as I sleep. However, when I one day have a man to keep me company in bed, I will gladly retire them.
- My skin is extremely sensitive and has strong allergic reactions to wool and nickel. It’s very high maintenance and will not tolerate anything except silver and gold. If it’s fake, my skin will discover the perpetrator and subsequently turn green and break out.
- Including me, grandmother on my mother’s side has 52 grand, great-grandchildren, with the first great-great-grandchild on the way. This number is steadily growing. In fact, I cannot recall a time in my life when someone was not pregnant on the maternal side of my family.
Everyone has a story to tell, and it’d be nice to hear yours too! If you have the urge to leave me a comment, then don’t hesitate! I’d love to read your thoughts and hear from you!
Enjoy!
❤ Jenna

I have a urge to leave a comment so you would read my blog too :p
You made my day Jenna, when you tracked me down. I tried to connect to everyone who was following my foreverpoetic blog, yet It was hard, I lost a lot on information when while working at my computer I started having a MS episode and was in the process of changing my passwords, I thought I wrote them down, and did not and then had problems with other accounts, most I got straightened out, and I decided to start a new blog on wordpress which is the one you connected with today. I missed your posts and you always shared such real and genuine thoughts. I appreciated the follow today, and I will follow you again also. You talked about you-tube, I will be sharing a spoken word video with images from bing and google which my wife prepared and the music that accompanies my voice was written by my adopted brother who is a musician with a small studio in his home in Nashville. He tells me almost everyone there has one in their homes. But I never thought my voice was not worth hearing, and on the way from St Louis we stopped and visit him and his wife, for the weekend and he talked me into listening to the music he had written then talked me into speaking with the music. We recoreded 15 tracks in all, with 23 poems involved. So now its just a matter of seeing what the public might think. The CD is both spiritual/romantic, and romantic. But the music is so amazing through-out and I have loved music since I was a child. I will let you know when it will appear then let me know what you think and have your friends and family listen to it also. Thanks for the spiritual hug today! And I have always been confident that you will be so successful in all you attempt to do in your life. Your smart, talented and real, with a truly genuine and selfless heart. Thanks again my sister and talk to you soon. Have a very blessed day tomorrow!
Proud Harry Potter Fan as well. I have read them all in French and English. Your description of yourself is exquisite. It already shows your writing talents. Will be a pleasure to go through your posts. Have already found one of great interest (Allah n’est Pas Obligé)!!
