I would have us be as those immortal loves,
The loves we hear about
That live forever across the ages:
Who had exquisite talents and beauties
Completely unique to themselves,
Where their first glances at each other
Sealed forever their devotion,
When they stumbled upon the perfect match
Without even meaning or trying to,
How every challenge and enemy
Tried to part them and failed.
What pure passion those lovers shared!
Why should those legends remain so?
Our love is not so different than all of theirs
In fact, this wonderful gift of true love
Could very well be even better
Because our story, our devotion, our honesty, our dedication,
Our love
Is real.
And in eternity the two of us shall live forever together as one.
